REWnet started in 1997 as my primary domain. I wanted to control my own email server, and I used it for all kinds of content. At one point it was my business site for selling web services, but my heart wasn't in that so those plans fell through the cracks.

Over the last few years, the site was dormant, and void of content. I used it for email, and I let my friends use the site for temporary storage of their content, but other than that, it was empty. So, now, I decided to use REWnet to host my hobbies. I've been getting back into photography lately, and I like to write about the places and subjects of my photo shoots, so I looked around and decided to install Joomla.

Joomla is a really easy-to-use content management system which allows me to have my site up quickly without having to dork around with the coding. All I want to do is take pictures and write about them; I get enough programming in my life from my job, so why stress over all that for my hobby?

I doubt anybody will end up reading anything I write, other than friends and family, but even if you don't fall into those groups, feel free to browse the site. Some of the things you will find here are just blog-like babble. At times, I may get creative and write something up in a format usually found in newspaper articles. Who knows what I'll come up with?
